As you have seen this one To the other place that a lot of laptops and stuff. Linus: Okay, sounds good. It's an unusual thing going into somewhere with the objective To buy the worst thing that you can find. I mean if they weren't trying, I don't know how they Could have made two completely different buildings, full of completely different people and things look so identical. Scotty: once you start coming here more, it does actually Like you do notice differences.
There is a different mix of stuff here. But it's a different mix Linus: It's subtle. Scotty: Laptops? He wants to buy cheap laptop. Laptop. Linus: Actually, Eric, can you jump in https://casinoslots.sg/the-great-albini? Okay, we want the cheapest possible laptop like in.. He's my translator. [Chinese] Linus: so..One problem here, where.. The really nice guy from upstairs directed us Is that, none of this is off-brand This is like, Lenovo, Samsung, Asus, Dell.. This starts at 6000.. What, Yen? Scotty: Uhh.. Renminbi It's about 6 to 1, so divide by 6. Linus: So about a thousand dollars. Okay, that's about like An [HP] Envy would start at back at home Like I don't think we're gonna find anything that weird and/or cheap here Tell you what, what do you edit your videos on? Scotty: Final Cut or [Adobe] Premiere Final Cut is my editor of choice, But my editor uses [Adobe] Premiere Linus: Here's what we're doing; we're building an editing rig for Strange Parts' editor. Because.. When in doubt and I can't figure out what to make a video about.. I just build a computer. So F%#K it. Okay, let's do it. Lets go back to PC component land. Scoty: Okay, go back upstairs here, maybe? Linus: Sure. Scotty: So my editor is in Mexico. Scotty: It could be my editing rig. Or my transcoding rig. Linus: You know what, I don't care what you do with it. But your editor is gonna watch this video, so if you don't send it to them Then.. You know what that's between you guys. Scotty: It's true, It's true, I would have to sort that out. Oh no, Linus has stars in his eyes Linus: Oh my god.. Scotty: He's looking devious Linus: I think I've fallen in love. It's actually, like, the construction of it is not bad too. Like, from a distance it looked like plastic garbage But it's actually aluminium garbage. Scotty: It's like proper, yeah. So it's exhaust going out either side with these like.. Baffles and than the whole thing is a big intake Holy $H!T, is this thing like 300 dollars? Scotty: 300 bucks, yeah. Linus: Woooow! How much is a Ferrari, 'definitely real Ferrari', power supply to go with it? Dang.. Lets look around a little more. I mean, we might find something else But I don't know if I could love anything more than that case. Sorry hun! I'm feeling good! We're off to a.. Very good start here Look at this stuff! That is some ghetto-ass watercooling supplies I don't.. I don't.. I don't know how I can resist. Linus: What? Linus: Awww.. What's the point of having something on display if you can't sell it? Linus: So.. That one and that one Oh, wow! That radiator weighs almost nothing That is aluminium AF! And I actually don't even if this... Oh, did you hear that, like, crack when I tried to put it on? Okay, 15 bucks for this though... Not that bad. Not that bad. Okay, lets continue our quest. Ah, thank you! I don't really see anything here that is jumping out at me. As having sufficient RGB-ness Okay, this! That is my kind of RGB And looks a lot more... sensible in terms of pricing as well. Yeah, I expected that. Okay, that's pretty cool. It doesn't actually have a microphone, that is totally cheating. Scotty: Is that true? [Snaps] Linus: Yeah, that's just cheating. Scotty: so the question was like "Should we haggle over this?" right? And so my rule of thumb is like; if I think it's fair price, then I don't. Like I don't push on it. Um, most people in the market are not like marking up stuff up Because it's like wholesale, there's just not the expectation Typically buying that one that they are gonna gouge you. Linus: I mean, the one thing I need to know is.. If I have anywhere to mount my radiator inside, so.. Uhm, Eric, can you ask him if I can take it down and open it up? Okay, we should be in pretty good shape! Okay, yep! I'm sold. Looks good to me. So, I know I said that you don't screw around on the power supply and motherboard. Scotty: Yeah. Linus: I am definitely gonna be finding... Brands that I don't recognize, for both of them. Scotty: Okay! Linus: Because, We are gonna have... we're gonna have the Chinese PC experience. Wow, Colorful makes motherboard. Scotty: Yeah. Linus: That's fun.. Uhh, Okay. So I wanna know how much for that one. It's a battleaxe, I don't know what the brand is, I can't read it. But it says "Battleaxe" on it. Yeah, the brown one at the bottom There's nothing on here that would indicate sorta what it is But it does have USB 3.0... Linus: Colorful? Oh, it's a Colorful board! Oh, okay.. Do you have.. Do you have anything... bigger? Full ATX. Here, we don't we uhh.. Why don't we just pick up a board here. Lets just.. Lets just talk to our buddy here Alright. Do you have; motherboard, CPU, memory? [Chinese] Linus: Uhh, let me try that again. This! What motherboards do you have? Do you have anything.. Like, full sized? ATX? More slots... Yeah. What about memory? Marketplace person: "Memory?" Linus: Okay, so that's an 8GB Kingston stick. Wait, it's a 100 bucks for 1 stick? Okay, no.. Hold on.

Prepare for the 50th anniversary of the Bond franchise with a new film by the director whose most famous action scene to-date was this. Skyfall: the overrated movie that thrilled audiences worldwide - only because it was way better than Quantum of Solace. Suit up with 007, the super secret MI-6 agent who everyone knows by his real name. "Bond." "Mr.
Bond." "Mr. Bond." "James Bond." "James Bond." In an opening so action-packed, you'll forget to ask yourself: Why didn't the conductor stop this train when it's entire back carriage was ripped off? And why aren't these people scared? When Bond is abruptly killed, it'll only take the link of one Adele song before he anticlimactically pops up in the most secluded corner of the globe that conveniently has CNN in English. "Within minutes of the explosion." But when Bond returns to the high-stakes world of espionage, he's faced with: word association, "Bird." "Sky." office politics, "The prime minister's ordered an inquiry. You'll have to appear." art theory, Judy Dench frowning ... a lot, and absurdly long landscape shots navigate to this website. Meet Raoul Silva, the Bond villian we've been waiting for ... because he doesn't show up until half way through the movie. An antagonist with a plan so complex, he wants to get caught but makes it nearly impossible to find him, knows months ahead of time the exact place to plant explosives during a chase he didn't even know was going to happen, and makes Bond gay. "Oh, Mr. Bond." Discover the latest in super-secret gadgetry like a gun, a knife, a shot gun, an old-timey gun, dynamite, and a tracking device larger than the one Bond used in the 60's. "Here's a nice little transmitting device. It's fitted into the heel of your shoe." Bond will use these tools to hunt down a terrorist who stole a list of secret agents. "The computer drive containing the identity of almost every NATO agent." ... which the writers stole from the plot of Mission Impossible. A film with action so artsy, you'll strain to watch fight scenes shot in total darkness. An ending so goofy, they just ripped it off from Home Alone. [goofy music] And a hero so sexually aggressive, you'll wonder: isn't he sort of raping that former child prostitute? [gunshot] Jesus. Starring Jason Bourne Fred from Scooby Doo Lindsay Lohan Random Bond Girl #732 Miss Moneypenny's black? Gollum Santa Claus and Sexy Voldemort. Skyfall. Wait, whatever happened to that hard drive they were looking for? Wasn't that the whole point of the movie? No? Ok. Make sure to subscribe for more Honest Trailers, and check out last week's episode where we get some witches b*tchin' about the new action film "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters." Your feet smell like popcorn. I sunk your battle ship, b*tch. Ka-Me-Ha-Me-Haaa! Your belly button taste like broccoli... yummy. So the first step for Food & Beverage was the construction of the Sports Bar kitchen. We then closed down the buffet, and also the kitchen and then construction began in there for what currently is the Carvers kitchen, as well as the food court, Manchu Wok and Fatburger space. I think that with Carvers Café and the food court in as well, we’re able to have the options for our guest that Two Salmon did have from the buffet.
So we have our breakfast, lunch, dinner options out of Carvers. We have our Asian cuisine from Manchu Wok, which is similar to a buffet. And then, also we have our burger restaurant, which was the number one concept that our guest wanted to see out of our food court. Once the construction was starting to end for Carvers and the food court, then that’s when we really needed to start our training for the Carver kitchen, the service staff, the cooks developing the recipes and the service and really doing like a mock service with our team to do that first run on the food and make sure that it came out great. We brought in a qualified management team. All the team member went through intensive training two weeks prior to the opening. All the food was cooked, the servers and the cooks tested the food, served the food and they’re doing a great job. The other side for the food court was we had managers and supervisors that went off to franchise training to learn from Fatburger and Manchu Wok to learn from their recipes and come back and train our staff here and do the same thing we did in Carvers from there was to do our mock service to our team members and to some of our guest. We brought the franchise trainers in from the concepts. Our management team and the team members were certified in each and every area and then we started producing the high quality that the guest were looking for. So once the training for our staff for Carvers, Fatburger, and Manchu Wok wrapped up, then that’s where things really started to get real for the team and we really feel like the opening was a success because our team did a fantastic job you know opening three new outlets back to back was a really tough thing to do but we excuted it and I couldn’t be more proud of the staff that we have, our front of the house and back of the house. You know, everyone did a fantastic job. So currently with our Sport Bar situation, we are remodeling in the dining room and that gives us a chance to offer a new menu so we are really going through the same process that we went through with Carvers and our food court outlets. Now we are developing a new menu, we’re training our staff and getting ready to put out a new menu for you guys in the Sports Bar that we hope you guys will enjoy! So we have options for every guest that come through the door. We have a great Asian diner, we’ve got hamburgers from Fatburger, we’ve got family style dining at Carvers Café, at Center Bar we’ve got a great place to enjoy a very high quality drink and a place to be seen and game and along with the Sports Bar, it’s going to be a very high quality food and beverage outlet. Learning how to study effectively for exams will help ensure that you make the grades that you want, and need. Whether you are studying for high school or university, you can stack the odds in your favor to make the grades you need to achieve your career goals or to keep your scholarship money.
1. Attend class: This is the simplest way to learn how to study effectively. If you do not go to class, you will not know which items are absolutely crucial to study. In addition, you will not be able to listen to the lectures or obtain handouts. 2. Read ahead: Although this can seem hard to do when you are already so busy, try to read the material before you attend the class. If you accomplish this, then you will be exposed to the material a second time. It could begin to cement new concepts and terms. In addition, you can ask for clarification of anything you did not understand during your readings. 3. Make friends: Having a friend in your class can be an invaluable resource. You could help each other learn how to study effectively in high school by quizzing each other on the material, for example. 4. Use the Available Resources: Whether your professor has included additional reading for you to delve further into the subject or your school offers tutoring in exam taking, it is important to take advantage of the resources that you have available. 5. Ask questions: It is important to make sure that you get the answers to your questions right away. Do not wait until you have studied the material several times and you still do not understand it. Get help right away. You can ask any questions to essay service. 6. Spend your lag time studying: Read over your study guide on the bus ride to university or listen to your professor’s lecture while you are working out at the gym. 7. Take lots of notes: Write down everything you think is important. If you hear an unfamiliar term, write it down so that you can look up the definition later. 8. Get a laptop: Having a laptop will enable you to look up definitions and solidify concepts during those lag times when your instructor is helping other people. 9. Seek out old exams: You can use old exams and study guides as the basis for learning how to study effectively in university. Even if the answers are not available, you will still learn the style of the professor. 10. Do not wait until the last minute: Instead of trying to cram all of your studying into one or two days or all nighters, study for a few hours each day of the week before the exam. Back when I was in college, a friend of mine started posting to Facebook every job that she had applied. Besides turning into pre-graduation spam, it also was a very dangerous habit as she had several friends interested in the same field. In fact another recent graduate admitted that she applied to every position immediately after my friend posted them landing several interviews!
It’s not uncommon to make friends within your major in college. After all, they have a lot in common with you! However there comes a time in every college career where your friends become your competition. When that happens, it can be difficult to navigate everything from job hunting to networking events. The biggest adjustment many students experience is changing from helping your classmates find great opportunities to keeping those opportunities to yourself. As a student, volunteer projects and pre-professional activities are shared experiences. As a job and internship seeker, potential opportunities must be faced with a certain amount of discretion. When you get out into the real world, every job opportunity is going to have enough candidates without you adding your very qualified friends into the mix. If a friend finds out about a position, they are welcome to apply, but it’s important to take care of your future first. If you and a classmate are up for the same position, discretion is even more important. Even telling someone specifics of how the interview went can provide information that can make their interview shine. Create your personal CV on the resume editing platform to have some difference. Networking events can also be tricky. It’s important not to denigrate your friends as it can come off as unprofessional and desperate. However if you are looking at similar opportunities, it’s important not to extol your friends above yourself. That being said, if your friend is going out for a position that you don’t want, or if you have a position already, helping your friends find opportunities can engender significant goodwill. It’s about finding a balance that you are comfortable with between protecting your job search and maintaining the useful connections you make in college. I hope you’ve found this post interesting, Please, don’t forget to ask me any question you want in the comments below. If you have a story to share, a comment to leave, don’t hesitate to do it. I would appreciate it very much. Wish you all, guys, to have a good day! A lot of people who are already settled down in their lives tend to focus on their professional and family life instead of dedicating a part of their time to the education which often leads to the lost of the person’s professional value. So, don’t forget to learn something new every day no matter how well settled you are. It will help you to keep your high post in the future. Do New Year's Resolutions really work, or are you just setting yourself up to fail? Should they really only be a statement of your personal intentions instead?
Having talked to dozens of people about what their Resolutions would be, the overwhelming response was that few make them, and even fewer expect to keep them. Most agreed it is more effective to take on board some ideas to make yourself feel better and commit to them. Here are some top tips for you to choose from: Career: Follow something that makes you happy, what you feel passionate about, and throw your heart into it; give it a chance and never stop learning. Make time for a project and complete it; it doesn’t matter how large or small, make it happen. Set yourself a goal at work; something to overachieve at and be proud of. Make a promise to spoil yourself when you achieve something outrageously out of reach, and tell no-one. Identify a mentor and agree what you and they could do to both look great to the Company, then make a pact to support each other. Wellbeing: Stop thinking about dieting and getting fit; just eat more fruit and vegetables, drink litres of water and find a friend to go to the gym with or run with. Once a week, walk somewhere, get off a stop or two early, or simply leave the car at home for the day. For every unit of alcohol, count to 10 before texting anyone, and if it is an Ex (-partner, -colleague, -friend, -boss) count to 100 for each unit you have already had! Tidy up, put things away, clear out that closet and those drawers, organise your books, CDs and DVDs and choose a few to read, listen to or watch again. If it doesn’t fit, or you haven’t worn it for a year, or it was never comfortable, get rid of it, donate it to a charity. (exception = gym kit… Take it for a run and one last try…) and always have 5 outfits that make you feel fabulous. Friendship: Revisit places from your childhood that were memorable, whether it’s the pool you learned to swim in, the beach you made your first sandcastle or the school you met your first BFF. Look up and reconnect with 5 people who made a positive difference in your life and share your memories with them. Delete anyone that keeps sending you Candy Crush invites, ever made you cry more than once, or hurt someone you love. Take a 24 hour break from social media and always switch off your phone at the dining table. Frame at least 3 family photos, treat your parents to dinner, ask your grandparents about their life and call 3 people you kept saying you would, but never did. Personal: Sing in the shower, dance on your own, laugh as much as you can and do something for only YOURSELF. Have Humility: give blood, volunteer at a centre, donate to charity and give others less fortunate a chance; buy a present for someone for no reason at all; pay it forward. When you get an invite (Wedding, College reunion, Black tie Ball) actually make the effort to go. Learn to dance, make the first move, always have 5 jokes to tell and don’t be afraid of laughing out loud. Tell those that you love that you love them, don’t be afraid to tell someone you think they are gorgeous and don’t ever go to bed angry with yourself. Cry when you want to, but don’t be afraid to ask for help; you don’t have to carry it all on your own. And for those of us who are not that young anymore; celebrate the grey, and the knowledge that comes with it, the wrinkles and laughter lines and enjoyment they came from, and especially those that show the learning that made you what you are now. |
